Sustainable development goals (SDG) at school level.

¶ Dr Rukshana, Psychologist, The National UN Volunteer.

What are Implications of SDG in human life?

Target: Next  and Nextdoor generations.

SDG means:

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

When human beings strive for enhanced life conditions without diminishing the meaning of life itself - namely our children's future - we call this development sustainable.

Sustainable development is often thought to have three components: environment, society, and economy. The well-being of these three areas is intertwined, not separate.

Implications and features are:

• to maintain the overall quality of life;
• to maintain continuing access to natural resources;
• to avoid lasting environmental damage;
• to consider as sustainable a development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Let these goals are in every school children notebooks and school prospectus and school notice board.

SDG at school level, First of all its a thoughtful process.

We should sustain the energy level of the student at a low to high level.
The students should be learn the values of life with the empathy and not give a touch of sympathy.

To build the day with facts and not give a emotional response.

Respect the student's every suggestions even if not implemented

Give them project diffrently, which should not be downloaded print, cut and paste.

Today our children have less opportunities too many challenges.

As an example...let us choose..... Environmental issues.

Why environmental issues?

Environmental issues are best handled with the participation of all concerned citizens, at the relevant level.

At the national level, each individual shall have appropriate access to information concerning the environment that is held by public authorities, including information on hazardous materials and activities in their communities, and the opportunity to participate in decision-making processes.

Schools shall facilitate and encourage public awareness and participation by making information widely available.

Effective access to local administrative proceedings, including redress and remedy, shall be provided by the school concern to the possible extend.

Women have a vital role in environmental management and development. Their full participation is therefore essential to achieve sustainable development.

The environment and natural resources of people under oppression, domination and occupation shall be protected.

Peace, development and environmental protection are interdependent and indivisible.

These are effective inexpensive and easily achievable at school levels.
