In general, personality is all about individual’s physique appearance or their look. But in actual, personality has broader aspect than that and it plays a significant role in Individual’s development. In a broader term, personality includes all psycho-physical dispositions, behaviors, views, interests, and attitudes of an individual. So, in another way, personality represents an individual’s external physique along with internal traits.
Personality can be acquired from hereditary, nurture, environment, culture, society, etc. Personality can be modified by the change of maybe demographic location includes society, culture, race, etc. and to develop new personality traits required for some profession or adaptability.
Personality plays a significant role in an individual’s overall development that includes personal, social, career, intellectual, etc. Thus, it can be said that personality has a major impact on individual development.
Due to the importance of personality in various developmental aspects, researchers define personality in different ways, also given different sub-factors of personality and its applications. No individual has similarity in overall personality, even identical twin because of sub-factors rare combination.
Every individual face different situations in day to day life and every individual counter such situations in different ways. This is happening just because of different personality orientation. There are various assessment tools of personality developed to counter different situations.
Also, different tools measure different sub-factors of personality for a different purpose.

MBTI (known for personality typology) that includes 8 sub-factors and describe 16 personality typology. 16PF includes 16 personality factors while Big Five Factor model describes 5 personality factors.
So, there are a number of assessment tools of personality available to assess personality orientations of individuals that operate in different situations. The number of personality factors is huge, the application of personality is also broader that used in the identification of various alignments and traits of individuals.

Hence, every Individual should know their own personality trait that will help in the adjustment in diverse situations or un-friendly condition. It also helps in to identify the severeness of situations. It is obvious if an individual knows their own personality traits, he/she needs to perform according to that to minimize the risk and learn new supporting traits for development.
